The Polygon is a multifaceted tool able to perform three different operations, including butt fusing joints and fabricating miter joints from zero- to 45-degree angles with extra socket fusion capabilities for polypropylene pipe. This is the first of McElroy's manual butt fusion machine that provides compatibility with the DataLogger®, providing highly useful documentation that all joints were fused according to existing standards.
The Polygon’s mitering options are intended to adhere to the one of a kind complexities of mechanical piping installations and retrofits, reducing time and costs on having to buy molded or fabricated fittings. The Polygon can adapt without issue to socket fusion by simply swapping out the jaws with the optional Spider™ 125 Series 2 Adapter Kit.
