McElroy Fusion Machine Parts McElroy Parts

Today, McElroy tools are among the most widely used when it comes to machinery equipment. Have you wondered how it came to be? Let’s take a brief trip through history.

Multi-talented inventor, designer, and engineer Art McElroy is the man who founded McElroy, a company which began in his Tulsa, Oklahoma garage. With the help of his spouse and a passion for design, McElroy Manufacturing, Inc. made its debut in 1954.

By the time the 1960s came around, McElroy was a fintube machinery pioneer. The first McElroy polyethylene fusion machine made its introduction in 1969. After someone asked to create a pipe fusion machine that could work with HDPE, McElroy unleashed the first hydraulic machine for two to six-inch pipes that was semi-automatic and centerline-guided. By the end of the decade, McElroy’s reputation had reached around the world.

After Art McElroy passed away in 1988 and his son Chip took over. Under Chip’s watch, McElroy went on to greater success, introducing the groundbreaking TracStar 500 in 1997 which quickly became iconic.

The TracStar 500 is among the many McElroy tools you can purchase through the McElroy Parts website.
