This versatile machine is designed to fuse large-diameter pipes as wide as 65 "OD in closer quarter environments and is especially suitable for customers needing neighborhood solutions with multiple turning roads.
The In-Ditch 1600 provides contractors with a powerful tool to fuse fittings, tie-ins, and flanges in the specific diameter for considerably less than traditional electrofusion fittings. Its features include a two-jaw carriage in addition to a top-loaded facer and heater for more versatility. The In-Ditch 1600 will fuse with very little excavation requirements onto just 15” of exposed tubing. It also features multiple lifting stages, a roll cage to secure the hydraulics and carriage and a clamping force of over 29,000 pounds per jaw. Speaking of the DataLogger, the In-Ditch 1600 is compatible to record fusion process steps with the computer.
