The TracStar® 1200 Fusion Machine Package dramatically improves productivity by bringing larger pipe capabilities to McElroy’s already impressive line of self-propelled and self-contained fusion machine solutions. The machine boasts an on-board generator that powers the heater and facer which is found near fixed jaws to improve and simplify pipe transfer. The carriage is removable so the machine can be used in ditches.
The TracStar® 1200 can butt fuse pipe as small as 16” OD or up to 48” OD and it is powerful enough to navigate virtually any terrain. Additionally, the machine has an engine that is environmentally friendly, designed with advanced emission control technology that adheres to the latest EPA Tier 4 standards. Because of this technology, there is no need to use diesel exhaust fluid with this machine.
