We’ll begin with the McElroy SmartFab 125 Socket Fusion Machine. This machine is designed to provide a smart method of socket fusing fittings and pipe for polypropylene piping systems. Despite its large appearance, the SmartFab 125 was designed with portability in mind and it can be positioned on any flat surface. With this design, operators can ensure accurate prefabrication while also enjoying a tool that offers plenty of versatility. The SmartFab 125 also includes cutting edge inserts to reduce pipe and fitting ovality, a pivoting heater, and individual clamping jaws that can adjust to virtually any pipe and fitting size.
The Acrobat 250 Fusion Machine Package is designed for maximum maneuverability in tight indoor spaces and boasts a design that’s intentionally compact. To keep a small footprint, operators can configure the carriage to support three or four jaws without having to use tools. Thanks to the new lightweight heater and guide rod latching system, there is no need to manually hold the heater in place when performing overhead fusions.
