The Rolling 618 Fusion Machine Package is among the most popular of McElroy’s fusion machine tools. Bridging the gap between large and small diameter fusion, the machine utilizes a universal four jaw carriage that, like McElroy’s other fusion machines, is easily removable to take care of fusion operations remote from the vehicle. The outer jaw and skid are also removable from the carriage in order to facilitate installations in scenarios where space is limited.
Featuring a new cowling design for better heat dissipation, the TracStar® 618 Series 2 Fusion Machine Package has also been updated with an improved electrical system that allows for better circuit protection. Users will also find a standard battery disconnect to make lockout easier. Our package includes the facer, heater, the machine, an insulated heater stand, lifting assembly, and 12” IPS butt fusion inserts.
